I thought I'd put up the list that I'm working on for the 40k GT finals in March. This list has developed from the thinking behind this post and the following discussions on Total Immersion and at the club, so thanks to everyone who contributed their thoughts (Coyote, hornywingythingy and Jamie in particular).
As usual, this is intended to be a take-on-all-comers list but it is worth nothing that this list has not been designed to deal with Lords of War, S:D weapons or AV15, as these have been banned from the final.

Death or Glory Tournament, Painting Competition, Ashtead 7/8th March 2014

Hello everyone and welcome to the first ever Death or Glory Painting Competition!

We know for some people 40k isn't about tournament gaming, as such we are celebrating this with our own 40k Painting competition at the same time as our 82 man tournament.

40kGT Heat 2

Last weekend I attended my second tournament of the year, Heat 2 of the 40kGT in Brighton. Having managed to place in the top ten in July at another tournament at Brighton I was hoping that my refined list would help me into the top half to qualify for the national finals in March. I'll leave it to the other DoG guys to fill you in on how they did, but let's just say one of us did very well!

'In Practice' Part 2 Putting Timelines into practice

Good morrow all those of you that have happened upon our humble blog here at Death or Glory today. I'm currently sitting in the shade from the morning sun, I believe it is going to be quite a day, I hope it is likewise for you.

Today we shall talk about the topic of timelines, previously spoken about over on the Wonderful world of fluff blog series here on Death or Glory and how to put that into practice in a more detailed fluff, to do this we dive back into the world of the yor'corvus.
