Top Tournament Lists (Brighton Part 1)

So to start the ball rolling with my Lists to watch out for at Brighton I will post these two. I won’t put names on them but they are both very good players and I belive they both read the blog so can post their names to the list if they want.

The lists are 1650pts

Tau
There were a few Tau lists but I picked this one to talk about.

Ethereal: 50pts

If you can keep this guy alive he is a game winner.


Commander: 177pts
Iridium Armour, Puretide Engram Neurochip, Multi-spectrum Sensor Suite, 1 Marker Drones & Drone Controller.
Solid hard to kill Warlord, with all the toys.

Riptide: 210pts
Ion Accelerator, Velocity Tracker, Early Warning Overide & Tl-Fusion Blaster.

Love these guys, fast hard to kill and hit like a train. This is the load out I would take them with skyfire and intercept with the fusion.

3 Crisis Suits: 219pts
6 Missile Pods, all with Target locks & 4 Marker Drones.
Good bunker unit for the lord to go in and maximise the effect of his Toys.

10 Kroot: 65pts
Hound.
10 Kroot: 65pts
Hound.

12 Kroot: 72pts
12 Kroot: 72pts
Cheap troops, with deployment options. Not to mention a shitload of firepower.

3 Broadsides: 255pts
5 Missile Drones, Tl-Hymp & Tl-Sms.

They are too 6^th what psyfleman dreads were to 5^th nuff said.

Summary: Really solid list with even more shooting than it looks like on paper. Has also got sum options with manouvering that are not apparent until you play it.

Grey knights & Necrons

Inq Coteaz=100 {WARLORD}

Good choice of warlord and you cant make this list without him.

3 warrior acolytes=12 (x5)= 60

5 razorbacks=50 (x5)=250
-psybolt

Lots of troops in tanks looks like 5th.

Dread Knight=235 (x3)=705
-personal teleporter
-incinerator
Scary fast, hit hard from shooting and combat, and are hard to kill

Destroyer lord=160
-sempiternal weave
-mind shackle scarabs

6 wraiths=210

5 warriors=65
Not much to say about the Necron part except SOLID

Aegis defence line=100
-quad gun

Average anti air but you can’t have it all in a list. Wall will protect those tanks early game.

Summary: It’s gona be all over you early try not to get tabled. Will be hard to beat at 1650 points and 6 troops will give it a chance in any game (seems quite killpoint heavy).

These two lists are straight out of the books, next time I will look at some forgeworld goodness.
