The Iron Fist Painting Challenge

This year I will be taking part in the first annual Iron Fist Painting Challenge. The aim is to paint a 1750 point 40k army in 48 hours. No breaks, no respite, no mercy! KR and Coat d'Arms have sponsored the event by provide paints for all and a lovely case for the winner. The winner will be determined by a panel of judges comprised of Golden Daemon winners and GW army painters - so the bar is pretty high!

This is also a charity even where we will be trying to get donations for Help the Heroes and SOSSEN, two very worthwhile causes.

I will be setting up a just giving page if anyone would like to sponsor me for the event and I will be (Trying!!) updating the blog regularly throughout the event. So long as I don't pass out that is!

My first challenge is deciding what army to do... One of my competitors and friends who was involved with coming up with this idea, Mr Andy Brown, a Golden Daemon finalist on more than one occasion has already begun producing test models for his Nurgle Iron Warrior army... Here was his first miniature, done in 15 minutes...

And here is his second done in 14... Hes getting quicker...

As you can see the level of competition will be very high indeed! Ill drop an update on here soon about it, but for now if you want more information or you would like to enter yourself please go to the Event page on Facebook.

\Out!
